OUR FUNDRAISING EVENTS
The Children’s Charities Association of Singapore (CCA) organizes four major fundraising projects to raise funds for the disadvantaged children under the care of the six member charities. A brief description of each project is as follows:
- Chinese New Year Hong Bao
- Donation Draw
- Flag Day
- CCA Fair & Walkathon.

CHINESE NEW YEAR HONG BAO
Chinese New Year Hong Bao appeals are sent to individuals and organizations before the Chinese New Year. We hope for a fruitful response with generous donations during the season of new year celebrations. Do let us know if you like to be on our mailing list on appeals, do let us know via email: admin@childrenscharities.org.sg
DONATION DRAW
The Donation Draws will be held in (Date to be advised). Tickets are sold at $3 and made available to the public before the draw date. Our target is to raise $200,000 SGD each year.
The top three prizes may be as follows:
1st Prize – Cash $8,000
2nd Prize – Cash $5,000
3rd Prize – Cash $3,000
There will also be prize giveaways which are provided by supporting and sponsoring organisations. Prize give aways could be items like mobile phones, F&B vouchers, study vouchers, cruise vouchers, electrical appliances and more.
The prizes we receive from supporting and sponsoring organisations are at least $100 SGD in value and they would help drive more ticket sales and lower expenses, all leading to more contribution towards children’s programs!

FLAG DAY
We always have a tremendous turnout of student volunteers for this event but always seeking more help from the public to support us! Our target is to recruit more than 1,000 volunteers to help us achieve the target of raising more than $100,000 SGD from street collection on the Flag Day.
We invite companies to partner us by sponsoring $10,000 SGD to help defray expenses of organizing the event. Logo of the sponsors can be printed on the Flag Day bags. Companies are invited to encourage their staff to help with the street collection or internal collection in their office. CCA FAIR & WALKATHON
CCA will upload an online campaign appeals via GIVING.SG to appeal for donation and participation to the Fair & Walkathon. We urge supporters to continue to support the event by donating generously.
Donors can also make donations by credit card, cheques and through Paynow to our DBS Bank via CCA UEN: S66SS0023F
Others
The Children’s Charities Association of Singapore accepts invitation from schools and corporations to be beneficiary of their events. CCA takes this opportunity to assist member charities to educate and help publicise the programmes and services offered by the six member charities to the children under their care by distributing brochures.
